This is Grizbee. 
His story began one Wednesday afternoon when he appeared on the noon show as the pet of the week. He was to be one of the hundreds and hundreds of cats and dogs at the Super Pet Adoption that weekend. 
I sent a picture message and jokingly added, "I'm bringing him home". Little did I know I actually would.
I went Friday afternoon to get Griz (Animal services called him Mikey) and fought off half a dozen mom's and teenage boys to get him. I got their first so he was mine!
I put him in the car and drove home.
Griz is a really good dog. He is a 1 year old silky terrier mix. There are a couple of issues we're working on but he's well on his way to being a well-trained pooch... sort-of.
This isn't the first time I've brought home an animal (i.e. the rabbit) and sometimes I still can't believe we're dog owners. It's a really big commitment but how could you not love this face?

He is exactly like I was picturing in my head!!! A little bigger but the same dog. I don't think he likes water judging from his bath picture. Lol he's cute!! Sam was very cautious around water too until he realized he could swim. Griz is really cute! I think his name fits him nicely. What "issues" does he still have?
I did bake Dave's cake. I'm slowly learning how to get it to look good when I do homemade ones. The cake I made Dave last year tasted fine but aesthetically it was a disaster! LOL but I find I really enjoy baking cakes.
He is so cute!!! You are brave, I love my little yorkie to pieces, but she definately has days when I feel like I have a toddler on steroids who is wrecking havoc on everything. But it is still so worth! Dogs are so loving!!! Thanks for your cute message... ha I definately am feeling pregnant! But we are so excited we can't wait! A little over 6 weeks left! I know what you mean, its weird that she just graduated! But its funny cause I feel the same when I see pictures of Susan and Stephanie on your blog.. I remember when they were tiny and we were babysitting them!!
Grizbee is adorable. I am so jealous you are on your cruise! I hope you are having a blast! I can't wait to hear all about it when you get home...
