Week 31

31 weeks! D-day is approaching fast! Only 58 more days! My weekly post is a little late. We put in tile and new carpet so it's been a crazy week! I'm going to the doctor twice a week now and everything is going great. Baby is healthy and growing like he should.

How far along: 31 weeks
Total weight gain: about 24 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? Maintaining my daily slathering of cocoa butter and vitamin E oi, I swear it helps!
Sleep: OK, hip aches and leg aches
Best moment this week: Brent put the crib together! Now I just have to decorate!

Miss anything? Not really

Movement: Rolls and jabs. I'm counting kicks everyday
Food cravings: Strawberry ice cream, chicken salad sandwiches, fruit, whatchamacallits
Anything make you queasy or sick? nope.
Gender: Little boy!!
Labor signs: none
Symptoms: none just uncomfortableness
Belly button in or out? in but it's getting close to popping out!
Wedding ring on or off? on, luckily I'm not retaining water
Happy or moody most of the time? Everything is going great!
Looking forward to: My family baby shower is this week!

30 Weeks... 7 months!!

7 months!!! I'm in the home stretch now! At 30 weeks baby is the size of a head of lettuce. He's growing bigger each week and this week measures about 18 inches and 3.2 pounds.

How far along: 30 weeks
Total weight gain: about 21 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? Maintaining my daily slathering of cocoa butter and vitamin E oi, I swear it helps!
Sleep: OK, just dealing with the occasional hip aches.
Best moment this week: Went swimming for the first time pregnent, it relieves so much of the weight!

Miss anything? Not really

Movement: Punches, kicks, rolls, he's strong!

Food cravings: Strawberry ice cream, chicken salad sandwiches, fruit, whatchamacallits

Babymoon!! 29 Weeks

A getaway to Southern California was perfect for our "babymoon"! We stayed in Sunset Beach and spent the week taking in a Dodgers game, sitting front row at a taping of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, exploring the Midway and lounging at the beach. It was relaxing and perfect temps, especially when I saw Salt Lake reached 99 degrees while we were gone. Here are a few highlights from our trip, including my weekly baby belly pic! Baby is the size of a butternut squash!

How far along: 29 weeks
Total weight gain: about 20 pounds
Maternity clothes? yes. Any woman who tells you she's not wearing maternity is extremely uncomfortable at this point.
Stretch marks? none, thanks to a daily slathering of cocoa butter and vitamin E oil
Sleep: OK, just dealing with the occasional hip aches and I can't sleep without my pregnancy pillow.
Best moment this week: The tonight show was sooo fun!!

Miss anything? Sushi!

Movement: It's crazy to see him move from one side to the other

Food cravings: chicken salad sandwiches, strawberry ice cream, fresh fruit

Anything make you queasy or sick? nope.

Happy or moody most of the time? so excited!!

28 weeks

28 weeks... 6 and 1/2 months! Time seems to be flying by! I'm in my third trimester and have about 12 weeks to go!

Stretch marks? none! I use cocoa butter and vitamin E oil religiously
Sleep: OK, just dealing with the occasional hip aches and leg pains
Best moment this week: Shopping with my mother-in-law and getting a lamp and mobile for baby... so cute!

Miss anything? Not really

Movement: Everyday! Sometimes he's a little too strong!

Food cravings: Anything fresh! Especially fruit!

Anything make you queasy or sick? nope.
