Idol and the big 6-0

I absolutely love spending time with my siblings. My sis, who is up from Snow College spent the weekend at my place. We spent the night flexing our golden pipes on American Idol. (the game, not the show) We even got all decked out in costume, sort of.


The big event of the weekend was my dad's 60th birthday! Yes, 60th! But he doesn't look a day over 49. Because this was such the occasion we celebrated in style with a very elaborate, very decadent and very yummy cake from Mrs. Backers! It looked amazing!

Cool School

Last week's cool school of the week was Joel P. Jensen! Big Buddah of Fox13 came to the West Jordan middle school and got a little lesson in foreign language. Brent's students were really excited about being on tv! His students worked hard all week preparing their Spanish song.
