27th

March 27th was the big 2-3 for me and it was also Brent's last day of student teaching! Brent did his student teaching at Taylorsville High. He has a few weeks left of classes as he finishes up his senior portfolio. That night we went out to eat at Ruby River, one of our favorite places. We then went to my parents house and celebrated with family.

Climbing the corporate ladder (sort of)

Monday Brent met with a HR representative from the school district. The rep said he would 'highly recommend' him to all high school and junior high principals in the district. He's about half way done with student teaching and he's loving it so far. He's teaching six classes - four world and two American history. He likes that he can teach both subjects but likes U.S. history the best. Wednesday and Thursday were parent-teacher conferences. The teacher he's working under told Brent he was one of the best student teacher he's had!

Wednesday night was my big producing debut! I've been working with the investigative team and produced my first piece! Families fighting to keep their homes, check it out at http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=2744120
